Download TWYN-Setup.exe and run it. TWYN installs in a few seconds and adds a webcam called “TWYN Camera”. Windows asks for confirmation once, to register that camera.

In ome.tv, Discord, Zoom, Teams or OBS, open the video settings and pick “TWYN Camera”. For sound, pick “CABLE Output” as microphone after installing the virtual microphone from TWYN.

The phone camera works without an account. Lobbies, friends and Pro need one: sign in with Discord, Google or your email.

Open “Phone camera” in TWYN and scan the QR code with your phone’s camera app. Tap “Turn on camera” and allow access. Your phone appears in TWYN within seconds.

Use the same Wi-Fi on both devices, the back camera and a phone stand. Pick the resolution, frame rate and bitrate in TWYN; the phone follows.

Keep Safari in front and the screen on. Use the black screen button to save battery: the camera keeps running.

Check both devices are online. On some networks (school, office) a direct connection is blocked; Pro includes a relay for those cases. Reload the page on the phone and press “New link” in TWYN if needed.

Open “Lobby”, choose a name and press “Start now”. Share the 6-letter code, the link, or invite a friend directly.

Type the code on the home screen or open the link your friend sent. TWYN opens and joins.

Everything in your picture goes to TWYN Camera: everyone’s camera, placed as you choose. Everyone’s voice goes to your virtual mic.

Free lobbies hold 2 people for 30 minutes per session. A host with Pro gets 4, with no time limit. Guests never pay.

The host can lock the lobby and remove people. Permanent rooms (Pro) keep their code and chat.

In TWYN, open Studio › Audio and press “Install the virtual microphone”. TWYN downloads VB-CABLE from VB-Audio and installs it (one confirmation).

In your app, choose “CABLE Output” as microphone. It carries your voice, your lobby and your soundboard.

Use headphones. If people hear themselves, their sound is coming back through your speakers into your microphone.

VB-CABLE is donationware by VB-Audio Software. If you like it, you can support them at vb-audio.com.

Choose grid, speaker, picture in picture or free placement under the preview. In free placement, drag and resize the tiles with the mouse.

Background blur, virtual backgrounds and colour looks are applied on your PC, before your camera is sent, so your lobby sees them too.

Add MP3, WAV, OGG or M4A files up to 30 seconds, pick an emoji or your own image and a shortcut.

Turn on instant replay, then press Clip to save the last 15, 30 or 60 seconds as an MP4.

In TWYN, open Settings › TWYN Pro. The first 7 days are free; you can cancel before and pay nothing.

Settings › TWYN Pro › Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.

Payments and invoices are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. You receive them by email.

Share your invite link. When a friend subscribes, you both get 30 days of Pro.

Open TWYN › Settings › Virtual devices and press “Repair camera”. Restart the app that uses the camera.

Make sure TWYN is open and something is shown in the preview. Some apps need you to switch the camera off and on after changing the format.

Close the other apps that use your PC webcam, or use the phone camera instead.

Lower the resolution or bitrate, use Wi-Fi 5 GHz, close heavy apps.
